Jonathan is the Principal Practitioner at Lifecare Point Walter Physiotherapy. He joined Lifecare in 2011 after graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) with Distinction. Jonathan started his career at Lifecare Willetton Physiotherapy before making the move over to Bicton.
Jonathan is the Senior Physiotherapist for East Fremantle Football Club. In this role he manages the League and Reserves teams through the pre-season and regular season. Jonathan also implements Musculoskeletal Screenings for the Colts and Development players.
Having worked with sporting teams throughout his career, Jonathan has developed a special interest in sporting injuries, injury prevention and facilitating return to sport. He also has a strong clinical interest in the management of headaches, dizziness, neck and lower back pain. Jonathan completed a dry needling (acupuncture) course with AAP education in 2011 and often uses this as a form of treatment.
Jonathan has been on the WA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Committee since 2011. In this role he is involved in convening lectures and courses for Physiotherapists in Western Australia.
Away from work Jonathan enjoys basketball, AFL and travelling. He plans on completing a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in the near future.
